Eysus: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In Eysus, the parish church of Saint-Pierre stands on Romanesque foundations; it was rebuilt in the 16th and 17th centuries. Its furnishings include painted niches in trompe-l’œil style dating from 1836. In 1879, the church received stained-glass windows by Jules-Pierre Mauméjean, a glass artist from Pau. Saint-Pierre also houses a statue of Saint Peter.

The history of the village is also reflected in a 16th-century château. It has an underground passage leading to the church.

Those who have chosen Eysus as their destination can combine their stay with the desire to rent a holiday apartment.
