Serres-et-Montguyard: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Serres-et-Montguyard between Serre and Montguyard
Serres-et-Montguyard was established in 1793, during the first years of the French Revolution, through the merger of two separate settlements. Today, the two parts of the municipality are characterised by different landscape and architectural features: Serres lies in the Dropt Valley near the Départementale 25, while Montguyard is a small village situated on a slope.
Another access route is provided by the Eymet–Serres municipal road. Cycle route No. 7 in the Southern Bergeracois also runs through the Dropt Valley between Eymet and Issigeac. It is 33 kilometres long, fairly easy, and designed to take three hours. At kilometre 26.50, the cycle route reaches Serres; from there, it continues through the Dropt Valley towards Eymet.
