Střelná: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Střelná has two distinct geographical references: the northern part extends into the Javorníky Mountains, while the southern part belongs to the White Carpathians (Bílé Karpaty).

The Turistická zvonice in Střelná is located on the Hornolidečská magistrála. The NS Javorníky-západ educational trail also begins in Střelná; its second station is located at Čubův kopec. The Hornolidečský circuit of the Hornolidečská magistrála also passes through the village. The Čubův kopec lookout tower is freely accessible, 16 metres high, has four levels and is made of wood.

Outdoor activities

At the Turistická zvonice, there is mountain spring water, toilets, a fire pit with a supply of firewood, a smokehouse, a sandbox for children and a camping area. The Stations of the Cross in nature adjoining the Turistická zvonice provide space for peace and reflection.

Culture and activities

The church in Střelná is a point of interest listed on the “K pramenům a studánkám Hornolidečska” route. At the Střelná shooting range, shooting is possible at distances of 100 to 1,500 metres. The SSK Poruba club organises training sessions at the Střelná shooting range near Vsetín. Non-members can register with Martin Pinček for training at the Střelná shooting range.

Transport

Train services on the Horní Lideč–Střelná–Púchov line will not resume.
