Honětice can be viewed from different perspectives. Water, culture and landscape emerge in distinct thematic areas. The scale shifts between these areas: the view extends from a single bathing spot and local memorials to paths and landscapes above the village. This creates a multifaceted picture without the individual themes losing their own significance.

Water

The Dvůr Honětice swimming biotope was built in 2012 as a bathing area with a natural water-filtration system. The water is purified using three biological zones with planted shallow-water areas and a species-rich community of aquatic plants. The swimming biotope includes a large paddling pool and a non-swimmer area. Refreshments and sports-equipment rental are also available. A washroom, toilets and showers are provided as well; all facilities are wheelchair accessible.

Culture

St. Anne’s Chapel stands in the village square of Honětice. It is the landmark of the village and is of local importance. The statue of St. John of Nepomuk is the only monument in Honětice and dates from the mid-18th century. There is also a prehistoric hillfort with skeletal graves in the Oboře forest. The cultural character of the village therefore brings together different historical periods: the local chapel, a historic monument and the prehistoric site in the forest are each visible as distinct points of reference.

Landscape

From Zdislavice towards Honětice, the Kaštanová hiking route follows a green-marked trail. Above Honětice, the Kaštanová Route passes the abandoned settlement of Svárov and the remains of the Tvrz Svárov fortification. On the eastern side of the Tvrz Svárov site, a visible ditch and rampart are still preserved. The landscape above Honětice also includes the chestnut avenue with 332 trees, designated as a protected and heritage-listed avenue. The Kaštanová Route offers views of the Chřiby, Kroměřížsko and Hostýn Hills. The route thus connects the starting point near Zdislavice, the historic traces located above Honětice and the named landscapes in a continuous green-marked trail.
