Vnorovice lies on both banks of the Vnorovický potok. The stream is a left-bank tributary of the Moravská Dyje.
Nature
The Moravská Dyje nature monument protects a population of Eurasian otters (Lutra lutra). It also protects habitats of flowing waters, wetlands, floodplain meadows, mesophilic to xerophilic grasslands, and open rocky areas.
The visitor infrastructure project “Vydří stezka na Dyji” included the cadastral territory of Vnorovice. The Kleniční mountain, Modrácký kopec mountain, Uhliště mountain, and Špičák mountain are located in the vicinity of Vnorovice.
Culture
The village square of Vnorovice and the original development around it are designated in the land-use plan as a prominent urban-planning area with an original parcel and layout structure. The area is also designated there as an area with the highest protection requirements for the cultural values of the region.
All the windows of the “sv. Andělů Strážných” Chapel in Vnorovice were replaced with financial support from a grant programme of the Jihočeský kraj. The U Svaté Magdalena Church is located in the vicinity of Vnorovice.
Hadrův mlýn served as a grain mill and sawmill; the former mill was converted into a guesthouse. The Landštejn Castle, the Schloßberg castle ruins, and Roštejn Castle [Doupě] are located in the wider regional surroundings of Vnorovice.
