The RAMPY area has a pump track. On it, bicycles, scooters, skateboards and inline skates can generate speed by shifting weight on and off the wheels without pedaling. The area also includes a nearly 600 m² concrete skatepark for non-motorized wheeled sports. For younger children, there is also a playground with soft safety surfacing and 3D play equipment where they can improve their motor skills and balance.

Pamětí Vitorazska is a 90-kilometre-long historical educational cycling trail. The circular route usually runs from Nové Hrady through the Austrian town of Gmünd and across the border to České Velenice. Along the route are 29 interesting stations with information boards for learning and recreation. The České Velenice Information Centre sells tourist maps and cycling maps.

Culture and History

The parish church of Saint Agnes of Bohemia in České Velenice is a modern-style building designed by the Prague architect Pilc. It was built by the architect Staněk from Trhové Sviny and solemnly consecrated on 22 December 1935. The stained-glass window in the apse of the presbytery depicts Saint Agnes of Bohemia.

Trips in a replica of the historic TMG 1907 trolleybus can be booked. The Česko-rakouské komunitní centrum FENIX was created through the complete reconstruction of a former cinema building. Various events take place there.
