Trails and Landscapes

The Metodka educational trail is 3.5 km long and has 15 stations. It is suitable for hikers, cyclists, and families with strollers. Along the way, visitors can learn about local partisan activity during the Second World War; a yellow-marked hiking trail to the summit of Metodka also branches off from it.

The summit of Metodka is 788 metres high. In good weather, the Orlické Mountains, Králický Sněžník, and Praděd can be seen from there.

Nature and Shorter Trails

The Modráskova educational trail is 1.5 km long and takes about an hour. It is located in Jimramovské Pavlovice in the municipality of Věcov and features information boards about the rare large blue butterfly and the trees and birds of the region. The paved farm track along which it runs is suitable for strollers.

History and Local Landmarks

A memorial stone set into the masonry commemorates the murder of Václav Rychnovský in 1621 at the Rychtě in Věcov.

The old Korábský mlýn mill in Věcov now serves as a farm for raising horses and keeping bees. Its first documented mention dates back to 1583; it was last in operation shortly after the Second World War.
