Rapotice lies on a hill surrounded by forests and on a plateau in gently rolling terrain; the village is predominantly surrounded by coniferous forests.
When choosing a holiday apartment in Rapotice, travel dates, room category and cancellation policies represent different practical criteria. Travel dates concern the period, the room category the desired layout, and cancellation policies the conditions under which a trip can be changed.
History and Villagescape
In 1101, Rapotice became the property of the monastery in Třebíč. In the 13th century, the village belonged to the Templar monastery in Jamolice. In the second half of the 15th century, Rapotice were incorporated into the town of Ivančice through the dowry of King George of Poděbrady's daughter Barbora and Henry of Lipá; later, they were assigned to the town of Krumlov until almost the end of the 19th century.
The Chapel of the Ascension of the Lord in Rapotice was built in 1857 on the site of a bell tower. It was renovated in 1995 and consecrated on 25 March 1995. The historic village green area of Rapotice has been preserved to this day.

Shared Journeys
Rápotova podkova is a traditional autumn hiking event with routes from 5 to 50 kilometres, as well as additional cycling routes. The wide range of distances and the alternation between hiking and cycling provide clear points of comparison for personal planning, without equating the different formats.
The Vánoční pochod is a festive event with hiking routes from 5 to 16 kilometres, during which participants walk together in winter weather while working off the Christmas cookies. Toulky jarní přírodou is a popular group event marking the opening of the spring season, combined with refreshments and socialising.
Autumn, winter and spring are associated with different types of events. Hiking events and cycling routes take place alongside shorter winter routes, refreshments and socialising; as a result, not only the seasons differ, but also the nature of the shared activity.
