Nový Telečkov: Vacation Apartments and Vacation Homes

Nový Telečkov is located in the eastern part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The village has a rare circular layout for the Czech Republic: the houses are arranged around the central village square.

Villagescape and History

The Chapel of the Virgin Mary stands in the center of Nový Telečkov. It dates from 1832 and was consecrated on October 28, 1832. Above the village, a granite monument bears a family coat of arms, the Moravian coat of arms, several inscriptions, and the motto “V rodu je síla.”

The nearby former castle site of Hradisko is considered a lookout post. In times of danger, a warning fire was lit there that could be seen from other castles. Double ramparts are visibly preserved in the nearby Hradisko grounds.
