Červená Lhota: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Červená Lhota lies in the valley of the Leštinský potok. The village combines a documented history with marked routes through the area.

History

The first written mention of Červená Lhota dates from 1436. The origins of the village are connected with the activities of the nearby monastery of Třebíč, which colonised the entire area surrounding the present-day town of Třebíč.

Culture

The western structure of the parish church of St. Lawrence dates back to the period before or around 1240. In the northern part of Červená Lhota village square stands a column with a statue of Saint Roch, a late Baroque stone sculpture from the second half of the 18th century.

The Church of Svatý Marek is also located in the vicinity of Červená Lhota. In the wider regional surroundings of Červená Lhota are Roštejn Castle [Doupě], the Church of Svatá Markéta and the Church of U Svaté Magdalena.

Routes

The Jihlava–Třebíč–Raabs cycle route runs through Červená Lhota. It leads mostly away from main roads along field and forest paths or quiet roads. A ride on the Jihlava–Třebíč–Raabs cycle route can be combined with a train journey. Several marked hiking routes also run through the Červená Lhota area.
