Culture
The present-day château in Nová Ves u Chotěboře was built in 1873 after the former château had been demolished. An extensive château park surrounds the building. The château is not open to the public, as it is used as a children's home.
The Church of St John of Nepomuk dates from 1816. It is a Neoclassical church with a cruciform nave. It is open to the public on Christian holidays and during regular services.
The monument to those who fell in the First World War stands in the square in front of the school building. It depicts a soldier holding a tall rectangular slab.
