Milíčov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Milíčov has an almost perfectly circular village layout. The village square features an ensemble of buildings designated as being of local significance. The settlement is presumed to date back as far as the 13th century.

Culture and History

The historical landmarks of the village include the Boží muka wayside shrines. The stone Boží muka wayside shrine at the crossroads towards Hojkov in Milíčov is a protected cultural monument; the Boží muka have been listed as a protected monument since 3 May 1958.

A protected boundary stone stands north of Milíčov beside a field path towards Jankov. Based on comparative examples, it can be dated to the late Middle Ages or the early modern period. The sturdy rectangular stele, with rounded upper corners, bears a raised relief of a cross with paw-shaped ends on its front.

Nature and Landscape

The Na Oklice Nature Reserve is located in the Vysočina Region, in the Jihlava District, within the municipality of Milíčov in the cadastral area of Milíčov u Jihlavy. It protects near-natural transitional peat bogs, montane Nardus grasslands, wet meadows with meadow thistle, and vegetation resembling secondary montane heathland, with scattered woody plants and stands containing significant plant and animal species.

The Milíčovský potok stream rises directly in Milíčov. Near Nad Svitákem, its floodplain contains a mosaic of preserved transitional peat bogs, wet purple moor-grass or wet meadows, and montane Nardus grasslands with significant and specially protected species.

The Milíčovská lípa lime tree was first designated as a protected tree on 3 May 1984.

Connections and Events

Regional bus route 764262 connects Jihlava and Nový Rychnov and serves Milíčov.

The traditional Čarodějnický rej witch-burning celebration is scheduled for 30 April 2026 from 6:30 p.m. on the village square in Milíčov.
