Kejžlice is situated in a valley through the centre of which the Pstružný stream flows.

Culture

The Chapel of the Most Sacred Heart of the Lord is located in Kejžlice. Services are held there on Thursdays every two weeks: at 4:00 p.m. from 1 November until Easter, and at 6:00 p.m. from Easter until 31 October. Current information should be checked.

The Orlík ruins are located in the vicinity of Kejžlice. The Želivský Kláštor monastery is situated near Kejžlice. The Church of Svatá Anna and the Church of Svatý Jan are located farther afield in the region.

Nature

The Kamenná trouba nature reserve extends across the cadastral area of Kejžlice and the cadastral area of Lipnice nad Sázavou. It protects wet meadow ecosystems as well as endangered plant and animal species associated with this habitat.

Melechov Mountain and Špičák Mountain are located near Kejžlice. Ostojovka Mountain [Ledeč nad Sázavou-Souboř] and Vysoká Mountain are located farther afield in the region.

Getting around

Local cycle route 1214 leads from Kejžlice to Budíkov.

Events

Den s koníkem Janýskem was scheduled to take place in Kejžlice on 3 September 2022, as well as on 15 September 2024 and 7 September 2025; the 2024 and 2025 dates were planned at Cihelna Pond.

The Letní pouťový parket was scheduled to take place in Kejžlice on 19 August 2023 and 15 August 2026.
