Nature
The Martinický potok Natura 2000 site CZ0613005 also includes the cadastral area of Chyšná. The Martinický potok is protected as a natural monument and as a site of European importance.
Two cycle paths run through Chyšná, mostly along forest and field paths.
Remembrance
The anti-communist memorial plaques in Chyšná are located on private property: one in front of a residential building and others on the outskirts in the direction of Martinice u Onšova.
Two further granite plaques of the anti-communist memorial in Chyšná were installed on 17 November 2013 on a large pedestal on an agricultural property at the edge of the village.
The memorial plaque for Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev in Chyšná was unveiled on 17 November 2013 on municipal land in front of the local cultural centre. On the initiative of former political prisoner Josef Fialka, it was produced by the Jiří Mrťka stonemasonry company. The plaque honours both men as representatives of the great powers whose stance during the Cold War accelerated the collapse of communist regimes in Europe.

The Želivský Kláštor monastery and the Svatý Jan church are located near Chyšná. The Hejdučka hill [Čechtice-Černičí] is in the immediate vicinity of Chyšná.
