Bořetín: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Bořetín is geomorphologically located on the edge of the southwestern part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The Mostkova Chapel, the oldest building in Bořetín, stands in the village. There are information signs and a sundial at the chapel.

Landscape and water

The upper course of the Hojovský stream forms the northern boundary of the Bořetín cadastral area and flows through the “Bukovec” forest complex. Bořetín is surrounded by ponds and forests rich in mushrooms and blueberries.

Culture and trails

The Stations of the Cross begin at the local chapel in the centre of Bořetín; a map showing the route is located there. The route is approximately 4 km long.

Cycling routes in the surrounding area

The Choustník cycling trip leads from Psárov to Bořetín and climbs to the 626 m-high summit of U Mostkovy kapličky. Without detours, this cycling trip is approximately 35 km long. The area around Bořetín is also crossed by numerous tourist routes suitable for families with children and experienced cyclists.

Swimming pool and fishing

There is a natural swimming pool on the outskirts of the village of Bořetín. The Návesní rybník pond in Bořetín has been used for sport fishing for many years.
