Všehrdy: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Všehrdy is situated on the Hačka stream and combines a distinctive local history with landscapes and natural attractions in the surrounding area. Around 1880, a Neo-Romanesque Chapel of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary stood in the village square. The chapel was demolished in 1982.

History

The history of the surrounding area also includes the former extraction of alum shale. The alum shale deposits near Všehrdy contained the zinc ore hemimorphite. White-forming raw materials from the surrounding area, known as “Všehrdy white”, were supplied to ceramics manufacturers in Rakovník.

Landscape

Hradiště, a mountain, is located in the vicinity of Všehrdy. Holetický vrch [Droužkovice], a hill, lies nearby. Kolina and Medvědí Skála, both mountains, are also located in the wider regional surroundings.

Nature

In nearby Chomutov, approximately 5.5 km northwest of Všehrdy, Bezručovo údolí Nature Park directly adjoins the urban development. It is considered the longest and deepest valley in the Ore Mountains. The Střezovská rokle natural monument is also located in the area around nearby Chomutov. It is characterised by strong water erosion and is home to rare, protected plant species.

Events

On 30 April 2026 at 6:00 p.m., the municipality of Všehrdy invited people to the traditional burning of the witches at the swimming pool.
