In the south of Spořice, St. Bartholomew’s Church stands on an island formed by a moat. In the second half of the 15th century and at the beginning of the 16th century, it was rebuilt as a fortified church. It has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic since 1958. Its slender Late Gothic tower is leaning and is compared with the famous Tower of Pisa.
