Water and sport

Labe Arena Račice is a leading European centre for rowing and sprint canoeing. Major international competitions take place there every year. The water channel at Labe Arena also provides a special setting for dragon boat racing.

The water channel in Račice is one of three comparable artificial racing courses in the world. In addition to the main channel, it has a return channel for boats travelling back to the starting line. The more than two-kilometre-long water channel at Labe Arena Račice is also considered an ideal place for recreational and sport fishing.

At Labe Arena Račice, there is a terrace by the water channel where you can enjoy coffee or ice cream.

Cycling

The Labe Arena of the Ústí nad Labem Region in Račice is located directly on the Elbe Cycle Route. The completed section of the Elbe Cycle Route between Račice and Hněvice runs through the area of Račice. This section is more than four kilometres long and includes a branch to Hněvice railway station.

Culture

House No. 17 in Račice is listed as a cultural monument and has a rarely preserved fluted upper storey. The Račice bell tower stands in front of House No. 17 in the street settlement.

The bell tower is a wooden post structure with a small bell beneath a conical sheet-metal roof. The bell is 20 cm wide and 25 cm high. It bears a relief of Saint Lawrence as well as an ornamental relief border.
