Culture and history

The protected grounds of the Church of Saint Gall comprise the church, the enclosing wall, a stone cross, 16 cast-iron crosses, and the delineated plots of land. The church was built in the late Romanesque style, extended in the Gothic style in the 14th century, and given a Baroque redesign of its western façade in 1760.

Počedělice was founded as a market village with a regular square village green. In the western part of this village green stands a stone cross marking the water level reached during the devastating flood of 2 February 1862.
