Nature and Educational Trails

The Údolí Hasiny u Lipence natural monument was first designated on 16 October 2002. It is an important palaeontological site containing Mesozoic organisms. The rest area at the entrance to the Hasina Valley is located on the outskirts of Lipenec. The Lipenec educational trail can be completed with children in less than an hour. The Údolí Hasiny u Lipence educational trail is approximately 1.5 km long.

History and Architectural Heritage

In the 14th century, Lipenec was divided into two parts by the Lipenský stream; this settlement structure is still recognisable today. Its architectural heritage includes the restored brick Church of St Wenceslas in Lipenec with its small roof turret.

The Pravda Ruins are located in the vicinity of Lipenec. In the wider regional surroundings of Lipenec are the ruins of Hrádek, Hradek Oltářík and Hazmburk.
