Obrnice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Zlatník is a wooded, partly rocky phonolite peak in the valley of the Bílina. The 521 m-high mountain offers views of the České středohoří and the Krušné hory range. The Zlatník National Nature Reserve is located in the cadastral area of České Zlatníky, part of the municipality of Obrnice.

Landscape

The Bořeň mountain [Bílina-Újezd], Číčov mountain, Dlouhá mountain and Líska mountain are located in the vicinity of Obrnice. Sukoslav is a ruin site in the vicinity of Obrnice; Osek Monastery is also located in the vicinity of Obrnice. Hradek Oltářík is a ruin site in the wider regional surroundings of Obrnice, and Purschenstein is a castle in the wider regional surroundings of Obrnice.

On the southern slope of Zlatník, at an altitude of approximately 465–470 m, there is a launch area for paragliding. Climbing is permitted at designated locations on the western slope of the Zlatník National Nature Reserve.

Culture and History

The Church of St. George in České Zlatníky is a cultural monument and has a neo-Romanesque façade. The Church of St. George contains parts of the valuable furnishings and frescoes from the demolished Church of St. Francis Seraphin of the Minorites in Most. The archaeological area of the historic centre of České Zlatníky includes a church, a settlement and a burial ground.

The Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity is a neo-Gothic chapel from the late 19th century in the historic centre of Obrnice. Its façade is articulated by pilasters, and its windows have pointed-arch tops. A small bell tower is incorporated into the roof ridge of the Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity.
