Michalovice U Velkých Žernosek has an established network of paths that can be used by cyclists and hikers. In addition, the area in and around the village has specific connections to Radobýl, historic sites, a castle and ruins.

The sixth stage of the “Výroční stezka” trail joins cycling route 3058 above Michalovice. Radobýl can be reached via a marked hiking trail from the road between Litoměřice and Michalovice.

Landscape

In the vicinity of Michalovice, Radobýl is an intrusive body composed of basanite. As a natural monument, it is protected within the České středohoří Protected Landscape Area and designated as a geotourism feature and geotope. The upper summit area of the mountain contains an abandoned quarry.

The point recorded as the mountain “Hradiště u Hlinné” lies in the immediate vicinity of Michalovice; the point recorded as the mountain “Lovoš” is also located nearby. The points recorded as the mountains “Deblík” and “Varhošť” are also located in the surrounding area.
