Chodovlice: Holiday Apartments and Houses

Chodovlice lies on the edge of the Bohemian Central Uplands between the castle ruins of Košťálov and Hazmburk. Its location combines striking features of the landscape with small cultural monuments closely associated with the village.

Paths through the surrounding area

The Třebenice–Libochovice hiking route runs through Chodovlice and continues to Lucký mlýn. It is 12 kilometres long and moderately difficult. Chodovlice is also listed in the documentation for the regional cycling route CT 3124 (Úštěcká), on map sheet 10.

Culture and history

The Chapel of Saint Bartholomew is located in Chodovlice and replaced a cross with a bell frame in 1822. Regular services are not held in the chapel. A commemorative plaque was placed on the birthplace of Josef Věnceslav Vlasák at Chodovlice No. 14. Vlasák was born in Chodovlice on 14 April 1802 and published the youth magazine “Bibliothéka mládeže”.

Lucký mlýn

Lucký mlýn is a former water mill. Its Baroque building preserves technical equipment dating mostly from the early 20th century. Today, the mill has the only functioning water wheel in the Litoměřice District. It is located in the southwest of the Litoměřice District between Chodovlice and Úpohlavy.
