Dittersbach: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The cadastral area of Jetřichovice lies in České Švýcarsko National Park, which was established on January 1, 2000. The Jetřichovické vyhlídky viewpoints can be reached from Jetřichovice. A circular route connects the three most important viewpoints, Mariina skála, Vilemínina stěna and Rudolfův kámen, and can be completed in a few hours.

Viewpoints and Trails

The red-marked trail from Jetřichovice to Mariina skála initially climbs mostly gently for just under two kilometers, before a final section with approximately 250 steps follows. Vilemínina stěna can be reached from Jetřichovice via the red-marked trail and via Mariina vyhlídka. The 439-meter-high rock face offers views of Jetřichovice and Růžovský vrch. Mariina skála offers panoramic views of the České Švýcarsko landscape, including Růžovský vrch, Studenec, Vilemínina stěna and other rock formations. Rudolfův kámen is a viewpoint in the sandstone wall of the Jetřichovické skály, with a shelter that can be reached via 170 steps. The international long-distance hiking trail E3 passes through Jetřichovice.

Landscape and Nature

Near Jetřichovice lies Pavlínino údolí, a wooded and partially rocky valley of the Chřibská Kamenice, formed by this river. The valley includes sandstone walls, romantic meanders of the Chřibská Kamenice and the Rusalčina jeskyně cave.

History and Culture

The historical origins of Jetřichovice are connected with Falkenštejn Castle, which was built to protect the Česká silnice. The Church of Saint John of Nepomuk in Jetřichovice stands on the site of a chapel dating from 1748 and was reconsecrated in 1993. Jetřichovice once had climate and mineral spas.

Beside the road from Jetřichovice to Rynartice lies Trpasličí skála, with stairs carved into the sandstone in 1832 and 1833, as well as reliefs of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs; today it is a cultural monument. A quest leads through the history of the Česká silnice and its surroundings. Near Jetřichovice, the remains of a rock castle with a hall carved into the rock, a window niche and a chapel have been preserved. Expozice Leporelo offers a virtual tour.

Further Trails and Discoveries

The yellow-marked trail from Jetřichovice is considered the most reliable route to Dolský mlýn in winter. Visitors can explore the entire Dolský mlýn site on foot. A project envisages the construction of the Česká silnice educational trail in České Švýcarsko National Park along the Vysoká Lípa–Zadní Jetřichovice route.
