Chlumčany U Loun: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The late Baroque Church of Saint Clement in Chlumčany stands on a hill above the valley of the Smolnický potok stream. It was built from 1771 to 1774 according to plans by the architect Leopold Vávra.
Culture and History
The former cemetery, where several gravestones have been preserved, surrounds the Church of Saint Clement. The former sugar factory complex in Chlumčany is also part of the town's historical heritage; it is listed under registration number 42327/5-1147.

The geologically significant area at Blšanský vrch and its surroundings extends across the municipalities of Blšany u Loun and Chlumčany. It includes an abandoned quarry and natural outcrops of Tertiary volcanic rocks. The mountains Oblík, Srdov, Brník and Křižové vršky are also located in the vicinity of Chlumčany.
