In addition to its functions in flood protection and electricity generation, the Letovice Reservoir also offers opportunities for recreation. A green-marked hiking trail and cycle route no. 5160 run through Vranová. The hiking trail connects Kunštát, Nýrov, Jasinov, Vranová and Křetín. Nature
The Nad kapličkou Natura 2000 site is located in Vranová. The dusky large blue butterfly (Maculinea nausithous) is protected there across an area of 3.86 hectares. The Kuliška and Sýkoř mountains are located in the surroundings of Vranová; the mountains Skatulec and Kočíko lie in the wider regional area.
Culture
The Nahoď Vranová ensemble currently has seven theatre productions in its repertoire. Farmhouse No. 46 in Vranová is protected as a cultural monument; it includes a largely completely preserved ensemble of traditional rural buildings arranged around an enclosed courtyard.
