Kozárov lies on the western slope of Babylon Hill in hilly terrain with far-reaching views. A considerable part of the cadastral area of Kozárov lies within the Svratecká hornatina Nature Park.
Nature
In clear weather, the Jeseníky Mountains with Praděd to the northeast and the Pálava Hills to the south can be seen from Babylon Lookout Tower. The Babylon Lookout Tower complex includes refreshments, toilets and a covered shelter for approximately 100 people.
Trails
The “FROM KOZÁROV TO KRKATÁ BÁBA” route is 19 km long; part of the route can be covered by bicycle. It begins at the Kozárov bus stop and ends in Újezd u Černé Hory. Kozárov has a regular bus service and can be reached by car all year round.
Culture
The Chapel of St. Anne was to be built in memory of a misfortune and in honour of its patron saint, with a statue of Saint Anne; it was consecrated in 1919. Four crosses stand along the access roads to Kozárov. The pilgrimage to Saint Anne includes a pre-pilgrimage celebration and a pilgrimage entertainment event.
Masopust is celebrated in Kozárov with a carnival procession. Traditional slaughter specialities can be sampled at the Zabíjačka at the Lookout Tower. The Krojované hody in Kozárov include entertainment, a verdict and a traditional ram dish.
