History

Nature and routes

Vývěry Punkvy is protected as a national nature reserve within the Moravian Karst Protected Landscape Area. The geological site Vývěry Punkvy includes the cadastral area of Těchov. The mountains of Jedla, Bučí, Skatulec and Stádla are located in the vicinity of Těchov.

The Via Czechia Central Route passes through Těchov and identifies the village as a stage or route point. Near Těchov, the Via Czechia Central Route enters the Vývěry Punkvy National Nature Reserve. The Vývěry Punkvy site is accessible by car without an entry ban; access is located within a radius of 250 metres.

The described hiking route begins at the Těchov bus stop. Along the route described from Těchov to Blansko is the Vyhlídka U Lavečky viewpoint, 1.5 km from the Těchov starting point; it lies on the edge of a protected area. The impressive Buk Na Žižlavici tree stands directly along the green-marked hiking trail.
