Olešnice na Moravě: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
Olešnice na Moravě combines local history, traditional craftsmanship, historic vehicles and sacred architecture.
Culture and craftsmanship
The Danzinger workshop in Olešnice na Moravě has existed since 1816. Forms and recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation for more than 160 years are still used there. The workshop offers excursions during which visitors can learn about the blueprinting process; they can also create their own blueprint pattern there.
History and town centre
The cellar of the former ice house, which was built at the beginning of the 19th century, was repurposed in 2003 as the Museum of Legends of Olešnice. The Olešnické muzeum strašidel is located on náměstí Míru below the church and opposite the town hall.
The Church of St Nicholas, “Kostel sv. Mikuláše”, in Olešnice was built in 1725. The Museum of Historic Vehicles displays historic automobiles and motorcycles manufactured in Czechoslovakia. Petr Hamerský collects these vehicles in his workshop and restores them to their original condition.
