Těšetice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Únanovský stream flows through Těšetice from west to east. It divides the municipality into a smaller northern part and a larger southern part.

The Pomona a.s. Těšetice orchard is located west of Těšetice and covers 90 hectares. Cherries, sour cherries, apples, apricots and peaches are grown there.

Activities

The Královská vinice Těšetice golf complex has a nine-hole golf course and a driving range. The Těšetický Golfklub is open to the general public.

Fishpoint Těšetice is a modern fishing venue for sport fishing near Znojmo.

Culture and history

The late Empire-style Church of the Holy Trinity in Těšetice dates from 1843 to 1848 and was consecrated on 18 June 1848.

The Těšetice-Kyjovice archaeological site is located in the cadastral area of Kyjovice and is closely connected to the municipality of Těšetice by links and paths. It is an important prehistoric site. From 1968 to 1978, its rondel was comprehensively researched as the first representative of its kind in Central Europe.

The Kamenná hora hill [Kyjovice] and the Purkrábka hill [Dyje] are located in the immediate vicinity of Těšetice. The Příčník mountain and Václavský Kopec hill are also located in the surrounding area.
