Nature and Trails

The Bílý potok Nature Park encompasses a wooded valley approximately 15 km long, with some rocky sections. From Svatoslav, the nature park can be reached by bicycle or on foot. An excursion there takes half a day to a full day and follows easy to moderately difficult sections with river crossings. The Bílý potok valley is suitable for walks; a yellow-marked hiking trail also runs through Svatoslav.

Culture and History

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is the most significant historical monument in Svatoslav. The village is home to the Roman Catholic Parish of Svatoslav with the Parish Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary; the church is protected by Czech heritage preservation authorities. Other historical traces include the remains of an iron mine adit, which is approximately 50 metres long.

Cycling and Getting There

The local volunteer fire brigade organises the traditional Svatoslavská šlapka bicycle race. The race was held on three routes measuring 20, 30 and 40 km. Bus services to Svatoslav are provided by IDS Kordis. Tišnov is 12 km away and offers a train connection towards Brno.
