Braníškov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
In Braníškov, village architecture and the landscape around the Bílý potok meet. The Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius was built in 1863 and stands in the village square. Around half of Braníškov’s western cadastral area lies within the Údolí Bílého potoka Nature Park.
Nature and Landscape
The Údolí Bílého potoka Nature Park encompasses an almost 15-kilometre section of the Bílý potok in a narrow, deep and picturesque valley through a gently rolling upland. Braníškov’s cadastral area covers 364 hectares, more than half of which is forested.
A convenient path along the Bílý potok is suitable for walks and cycling trips.
Culture
The Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius is a single-nave building in the vernacular Baroque style. The Cyril and Methodius pilgrimage took place in Braníškov in 2025 and 2026.
Things to Do
The “Around the Bílý potok and Libochůvka” cycling tour runs from Veverská Bítýška along the Bílý potok to Hálův mlýn and via Maršov and Braníškov to Vlkovská hájenka.
The tennis court in Braníškov was built through the voluntary work of future club members and with financial support from the municipal office.
Getting There
Braníškov can be reached from Brno within the IDS system by taking the S3 train and changing to bus line 312.
