Culture and History

The Baroque Church of St. George is a landmark in Moravské Prusy. It was built in 1733 according to the plans of the architect Domenico Martinelli and is a cultural monument.

A bell tower dating from the end of the first half of the 18th century stands on the village square in Boškůvky; this bell tower is also a cultural monument.

The origins of the former fortress are associated with the end of the 14th and the beginning of the 15th century. The abandoned fortress still has visible remains of the foundations of a central mound and the moat surrounding it.

Landscape and Nature

The new municipal pond is part of a biocorridor that runs through the cadastral area of Prusy-Boškůvky. Pruský rybník pond lies north of Prusy-Boškůvky.

The new municipal pond can be visited during walks in the vicinity of Prusy-Boškůvky. Fragments of steppe vegetation of the Cirsio-Brachypodium pinanti type, with occurrences of specially protected plant species, are preserved in Zouvalka.

Hiking and Cycling

A blue-marked long-distance hiking trail runs through Moravské Prusy on the route from Vyškov to Bučovice. Long-distance cycle route No. 5029 runs from Vyškov via Prusy-Boškůvky to Koryčany.

Activities and Events

Children and adults can join the Stáj Boškůvky Equestrian Club and take part in equestrian sports. The TJ Sokol sports complex has a small-sided football pitch, two sand-filled Nohejbal courts and a synthetic-turf court, all of which can be used for active recreation.

The cultural centre is used for cultural events such as balls, the local church fair, children's carnival celebrations, senior citizens' gatherings, Christmas parties, Mother's Day celebrations and children's theatre.
