Miroslav: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Miroslav Castle is primarily used for exhibitions. It is currently open to the public; its rooms can be visited as part of a guided tour with commentary.

Culture

Miroslav's cultural heritage includes the Jewish cemetery with valuable tombstones in the Classical and Baroque styles. The present form of the Church of St. Peter and Paul was created between 1722 and 1729 by Louka Monastery.

Nature

The Miroslavské kopce National Nature Monument consists of six independent hills in the surroundings of the town of Miroslav. It protects rock communities and the vegetation of heat-loving steppe habitats. The sports airfield bordering the Miroslavské kopce National Nature Monument to the west is home to a large colony of the now very rare European ground squirrel (Spermophilus citellus).

The green-marked educational trail, designed as a circular route, connects the Miroslavské kopce, leading from the centre of Miroslav via the southern outskirts of the town into the hilly landscape, and is approximately 5 km long.

Leskoun is a mountain in the surroundings of Miroslav. The hills “Miroslavské kopce E”, “Vyhlídka [Hostěradice na Moravě]” and “Miroslavské kopce S” are also located in the vicinity of Miroslav.

Surroundings
