The windmill is the most important landmark of Lesná. It is a Dutch-style windmill that was built in the first half of the 19th century on the eastern edge of the settlement along the road to Znojmo. Construction began in 1860 and was completed over the following two years.
Culture and History
The Chapel of St. Theresia on the village square dates from 1867 to 1868. The Church of St. Theresia was consecrated on September 2, 1868. Its altarpiece was painted by Josef Doré, the director of the ceramics factory in Vranov.
The Motorcycle Museum in Lesná is housed in three buildings. The 1st Czech Motorcycle Museum in Lesná u Znojma displays an extensive collection of automobiles, motorcycles, sidecars, and other curiosities.
