History and Culture

The first documented mention of Kuchařovice dates back to 1220. On Deblínek, there are prehistoric hillforts of the Urnfield culture dating from 1000 to 800 BC.

The Chapel of St Florian in Kuchařovice dates from 1932. The sculptural group of the Holy Trinity is another attraction in Kuchařovice. The educational trail “Naučná stezka Po památkách Napoleonova působení na Znojemsku” thematically connects places associated with the stay of Napoleon’s troops in connection with the Battle of Znojmo.
