Jabloňany: Vacation Apartments and Holiday Homes

Jabloňany is located between the Úmoří stream and the Svitava River, in a valley between the wooded elevations of Fáberka (445 m) and Voskovice (428 m). The mountains of Skatulec, Jedla, Bučí and Střela are located in the surroundings of Jabloňany.

Cycling route 5201 runs from Černá Hora via Chrudichromy, Bořitov, Huť sv. Antonie, Krhov, Jabloňany, Skalice nad Svitavou and Mladkov. Cycling route 5201A connects Jabloňany and Obora; regional cycling route 5143 also runs through Jabloňany.

Culture

There is a bus stop with a shelter in the center of Jabloňany. The Chapel of St. Cyril and Methodius stands in the middle of the village square. In front of the chapel are a cast-iron depiction of a cross with an enclosure and the Baroque sculpture of St. John of Nepomuk with a volute pedestal and semi-sculptural reliefs.

In the wider regional surroundings of Jabloňany are the monument Pomník obětem 1. a 2. světové války, Veveří Castle, Brno Zoo and Kuchlov, a ruin site.

Events

The traditional cultural event Rozloučení s prázdninami takes place at the Luh sports complex in Jabloňany. The program includes, among other things, a bouncy castle, soccer darts, spraying water at a target, an obstacle course, archery, car rides and horseback riding.
