Brťov-Jeneč: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Brťov-Jeneč combines a distinctive local history with specific natural and recreational sites. The Křížkovský stream flows through the municipality. The larger part of the municipality located north of Road II/377 belongs to Lysicko Nature Park, established in 1994. A small pond was created on a stream at the western edge of Brťov-Jeneč; it serves as a natural outdoor swimming pool and is also used for fishing.

History

The first written mention of Brťov dates back to 1399. By 1549 at the latest, Brťov belonged to the Černá Hora estate. The municipal seal of Brťov dates from 1823 and features a chapel in its coat of arms. Classes at the school in Brťov began in spring 1901.

Events and Sports

Church fairs and dances are held annually at Výletiště. The local football club FC Brťov plays its championship small-sided football matches at the local football pitch.

Chapel and Church Services

Regular church services are held at 11:00 a.m. on Sundays and public holidays in the Chapel of Mary, Mother of the Lord, in Brťov. Once a year, during the Brťov pilgrimage, a Roman Catholic Mass is held in the chapel.

The 20-kilometre cycle route 5197 runs for 0.93 kilometres through Brťov u Černé Hory. IDS-JMK bus line 313 connects Lysice, Býkovice, Brťov-Jeneč, Lipůvka and Kuřim. IDS-JMK bus line 235 connects Lomnice, Brťov-Jeneč, Žernovník, Černá Hora, Bořitov, Rájec-Jestřebí, Spešov and Blansko.
