Culture and History
A historical connection leads to Červený Újezdec: the original magistrate's house there was mentioned as early as the 16th century and was gradually converted into a Renaissance chateau. Červený Újezdec Chateau is located in building number 1.
Hrad Zvíkov Castle is located in the vicinity of Vlastec, as is the Svatý Jan Church. In the wider regional area lies the Lety u Písku historical memorial site, Památník holokaustu Romů a Sintů v Čechách. In connection with Vlastec, the Boží muka wayside shrines and three chapels from 1719 are also mentioned as additional monuments. The present-day Chapel of Saint Wenceslas in Vlastec was built in 1876.
Experiences
The Lišov–Červený Újezdec bridleway is 6.7 kilometres long and marked in green. The Petrovice–Červený Újezdec bridleway is almost 18 kilometres long. This bridleway also serves as an educational trail and has five information boards about Czech horse breeds.
