Trebíčko: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The hiking route “Z Thových Svin přes ZOO Dvorec do Borovan a zpět” runs through Třebíčko to ZOO Dvorec. This connects the place with a specific route between Trhové Sviny, the wildlife park and Borovany.

Trails and Nature

The circular hiking trail begins at the information centre in Trhové Sviny. From Trhové Sviny, tourist trails also lead to the Slepičí hory mountains, which are less than 10 kilometres away. Cycling opportunities are available in the town.

ZOO Dvorec is adapted for getting around with prams and wheelchairs. In Chrastí, the natural landscape includes a mesotrophic to eutrophic pond ecosystem with rich vegetation and significant communities of aquatic and wetland organisms.

Culture and History

The Naučná stezka Trhovosvinensko educational trail is 4.5 kilometres long. Its stations include the Church of the Holy Trinity, a pilgrimage church, as well as Buškův hamr. Traditional Kovářské dny are held at the latter each year on the third weekend in August.

At the centre of the urban heritage conservation zone in Trhové Sviny are a square with a town hall and townhouses with arcades. The history of the town dates back to the middle of the 13th century.

Events

The programme of the 2024 “Letíme Vám pro zdraví” event included a diverse presentation of pilots and their models from all over the Czech Republic. The programme also included a flyover by ultralight aircraft from AK Planá.
