Nuzice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Despite intensive construction phases in the mid-19th century and the second half of the 20th century, Nuzice has preserved its historic village structure, with a regular village square and larger farm complexes.

Nature at Židova strouha

The Židova strouha nature monument area extends into the cadastral territory of Nuzice. The Židova strouha locality near Nuzice forms a gorge-like valley with rock walls. As a geological site, it can be reached via a walkable tourist trail and lies more than 250 metres from the road.

Hiking Trails and Terrain

The yellow-marked hiking trail along Židova strouha can be accessed from the Týn nad Vltavou–Tábor road before Březnice. There are smaller terrain obstacles along the way, especially towards the end, where the stream must be crossed. The most beautiful final section of Židova strouha can be reached from Nuzice via the blue-marked hiking trail.

Archaeology and Monuments

The Hradce hillfort is located on a prominent spur formed by the last meander of Židova strouha. Steep slopes, partly transitioning into rock walls, enclose the site on most sides. A massive, bow-shaped transverse rampart has been preserved at the Hradce hillfort, almost completely crossing the access route. The Hradce hillfort is a currently protected archaeological feature in the cadastral territory of Nuzice.

The historic Les Celiv burial mound field in Nuzice is designated as an NKP burial mound field. The road bridge over Židova strouha in Nuzice is part of the cultural-historical and technical monument heritage.
