Routes and Excursions

Cycle route no. 1130 runs along road III/15526 through Branišovice, Mokrý Lom and Ločenice.

The red hiking trail Římov–Svatý Jan nad Malší–Komařice runs through the administrative area of Mokrý Lom and leads through the districts of Lahuť and Polžov. The blue hiking trail Římov–Kaplice runs along the western side of the administrative area of Mokrý Lom. The “Around the Římov Reservoir” excursion leads through Mokrý Lom and follows field paths and minor roads. The forests around Mokrý Lom offer opportunities for hiking.

History

The settlement of Mokrý Lom belonged to the Velešín estate until 1387.

The chapel in Mokrý Lom dates from 1848. It was built in the village square to commemorate the abolition of corvée labor.

Leisure

Mokrý Lom has a swimming pool. The Mokrý Lom children’s playground includes a zip line, swings, a climbing tower with a slide and a sand area.

Getting Around

Road III/15526 connects Římov, Branišovice, Mokrý Lom and Ločenice and runs through the administrative centre of Mokrý Lom. In 2024, buses to Mokrý Lom travelled along road III/15526.
