Lnáře: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

In Lnáře, Zámek Lnáře is open to the public and offers an exhibition on the local tradition of fish farming. The town’s culture and history are also reflected in historic religious and monastic buildings.

Culture and history

The former monastery of the Discalced Augustinians in Lnáře was built between 1688 and 1693 according to plans by the architect G. B. Maderna, who was associated with the Černín family. The Church of the Holy Trinity in Lnáře was consecrated in December 1723.

The Tvrz Lnáře Information Centre provides information for arriving visitors. In summer, the gallery of Tvrz Lnáře presents changing exhibitions by regional artists.

Landscape and trails

The historic educational trail “Okolím Lnář” is 4 km long and presents natural attractions. In the vicinity of Lnáře are Jezbyně [Lnáře], a hill, and Na Stráži [Tchořovice], also a hill.

Lnáře is situated on road E 49, 8 km northwest of Blatná. In the wider regional surroundings of Lnáře are Štěrbina, a mountain, and Nad Moráskem, also a mountain. The same wider regional surroundings also include the Radomysl Mediumwave Radio Mast installation, which is considered a ruin, the historic site “Lety u Písku.
