History and culture

Hrachoviště is first mentioned in writing in 1366. The Rožmberks donated half of Hrachoviště to the Třeboň monastery and later the entire village. At the end of Hrachoviště in the direction of Kojákovice stands the Kříž na konci Hrachoviště cross. The Chapel of St. Catherine and St. Barbara in Hrachoviště dates from 1884.
