Hrachoviste: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Hrachoviště is located in the Třeboňsko Protected Landscape Area. The “Na kole Třeboňskem” cycling tour, which is suitable for trekking bikes, passes through the village.

Cycling routes

Cycling route No. 1212 leads to Hrachoviště and is part of the “Barokní perly Třeboňska” route. The CT1212 cycling route also leads to Hrachoviště.

History and culture

Hrachoviště is first mentioned in writing in 1366. The Rožmberks donated half of Hrachoviště to the Třeboň monastery and later the entire village. At the end of Hrachoviště in the direction of Kojákovice stands the Kříž na konci Hrachoviště cross. The Chapel of St. Catherine and St. Barbara in Hrachoviště dates from 1884.

In the wider regional surroundings of Hrachoviště, Geyersteine is a monument. The Lunkowitz Cross, Red Cross and Hunter’s Cross are shrines there.
