Culture and History

The Tvrz Štěkře complex in the settlement of Štěkře is an exceptionally valuable example of Renaissance architecture from the 16th and 17th centuries. The Tvrz includes a residential building of Gothic origin. The complex also comprises a Renaissance granary, a former smithy, and other farm buildings.

A village heritage conservation zone was designated in Čertyně in 1990 because the village has been preserved practically without modern alterations or renovations. There are two gates that are still Gothic: one serves as the entrance to Farm No. 10, while the other now leads only into a garden.

Near Dolní Svince lies the former Počátek pond, which Jakub Krčín created in 1565.

Hiking Trails and Excursion Routes

The walking route from Velešín via Svince to Dolní Třebonín is listed with an estimated walking time of 2 hours and 15 minutes. A possible route there and back from Dolní Třebonín via Štěkře to Zlatá Koruna is described as approximately 11 km long, with a walking time of around 4 to 5 hours.

The municipality of Dolní Třebonín lists a possible excursion route via Černice to the Hostinský pivovar Glokner brewery in Svachova Lhotka.
