Culture
The Budíškovice château complex is an immovable cultural monument. Maximilián Leopold von Castelma had Budíškovice château built in 1690 on Renaissance foundation walls. The château is a four-winged Baroque building with arcades surrounding the inner courtyard. The Baroque statue of Saint John of Nepomuk in Budíškovice is a prominent feature of the area in front of the château. It was sculpted before the saint's canonization.
The Church of Saint Magdalene and the Church of the Holy Cross are located in the vicinity of Budíškovice. Further afield in the region are Landštejn Castle and Roštejn Castle [Doupě].
Landscape
The surroundings of Budíškovice include Kleniční, Modrácký kopec, Špičák and Rudný mountains. The Budíškovice château park has the character of a landscape park and contains two ponds and a garden pavilion.
Routes
The “Nejen na Bábu (666 m above sea level)” route includes a 6 km section between Hříšice and Budíškovice. From Bába, it follows a forest path towards Budíškovice. The cycle path No. 5220 is also used on an excursion as far as the outskirts of Třebětice.
