The picturesque surroundings of Rodvínov invite you to go for walks and enjoy a pleasant stay on the banks of small ponds. The forests around Rodvínov are ideal for relaxation and are rich in mushrooms and wild berries.
Nature and trails
The Jindřišské údolí valley lies southeast of the municipality of Rodvínov. It covers 9.3 hectares and is characterised by ravine forests, fir stands, relict pines, and protected plants, fungi and animals.
The 11 km-long Jindrova naučná stezka educational trail runs along the Hamerský potok from Jindřichův Hradec through Jindřiš and onwards through the Jindřišské údolí valley via Blažejov and Dvoreček to Ratmírovský rybník. It explains the Hamerský potok and its surroundings; it currently has 21 information panels, each of which also contains a section for preschool and younger school-age children.
Culture and history
The wooden bell tower in Rodvínov houses the bell “sv. Prokop”. It was publicly cast from 14 to 16 August 2015 in the village square in Rodvínov.
In the Jindřiš district of Rodvínov stands a Baroque stone bridge over the Hamerský potok, built around 1856 and classified as an immovable technical monument. A statue of Saint John of Nepomuk stands on the bridge. The bridge is still open to motorised traffic.
Before Jindřiš, at the intersection by the bridge over the Hamerský potok, there is a wayside shrine dated 1667. In the Jindřiš district of Rodvínov, at the turn-off to the railway, there is also a wayside shrine classified as a cultural monument, with registration number 32543 / 3-1956.

The Jindřichův Hradec–Nová Bystřice narrow-gauge railway has two stops in Jindřiš and is considered above all an important technical monument.
