The cycle route 1100 between České Budějovice and Dubné passes through Branišov. An official regional cycle tour follows cycle route 1100 through the Branišovský les to Branišov and onwards to Křenovice.

Nature

The Branišovský les is a recreational forest accessible to visitors. The Branišovský les has a network of forest paths with a total length of 1,734 metres and three children's playgrounds. There is also a forest educational trail with a playground, various obstacles, climbing elements and other play features. Rest facilities are provided for visitors; information boards for visitors have also been installed.

Culture

The U Lesa Chapel was built in 1915 in memory of the deceased Josef Graman at the expense of his wife Kateřina. The Chapel of the Holy Trinity was built in 1856 in the eclectic style. It is a protected example of small-scale sacred architecture from the 19th century in the eclectic style, typical of South Bohemia. The chapel stands in the northwestern part of Branišov, directly on the road between České Budějovice and Dubné.
