Únehle: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Únehle combines its first written mention from 1115 with surroundings featuring named mountains and hills as well as historical landmarks.

History

King Wenceslaus I transferred Únehle to Teplá Monastery in 1232. In the second half of the 14th century, Únehle belonged to the domain of the town of Stříbro, which remained the owner of the village until 1547.

Landscape

The Viči hora mountain is located in the surroundings of Únehle. The nearby area also includes the hill (Na Pasekách) [Únehle] and the hill (Slavický les) [Černošín-Víchov]. In the wider region are Sténský vrch mountain, Novy Dvur Monastery, and the church “Plzen Barholomaeus Cathedral”.

Culture and Traces

In 1875, Johann Wittich decided to build a mill on the outskirts of Únehle. The mill’s water system in Únehle diverted the outflow into the Kšický potok. In addition to Bronze Age finds, a Hallstatt-period grave was also discovered near Únehle. The Únehle burial site consists of around 45 burial mounds in a defined group.

The road bridge in Únehle has also been preserved in its original condition, without disruptive modern alterations.

Getting Around

Road II/193 runs through the center of Únehle and connects Stříbro, Únehle, Kšice, and Erpužice. Cycle Route No. 2222 also runs through Únehle.
