Cernosin: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Černošín combines a local history dating back to the Middle Ages with protected landscapes and trails around Vlčí hora. In the centre stands St. George’s Church, which was first mentioned as early as 1374. The present-day Baroque church was built between 1711 and 1736.
Culture and History
The history of the town also includes Volfštejn Castle. It was founded in the second half of the 13th century on a spur of Vlčí hora near Černošín. The access path leads from Černošín along the eastern rampart, around the castle to the south and onward to the former manor farm. From there, you can climb to the summit of Vlčí hora.
Nature and Educational Trail
The Kosí potok Nature Park partly extends across the municipal area of Černošín. In a gorge-like valley of the stream, it protects biological and landscape values. Černošínský bor, a protected relict pine stand, is also located along the route from the football pitch in Černošín to Volfštejn Castle.
The Kosí potok Educational Trail is 8 km long and provides information about the nature and history of the Kosí potok valley.
Hiking and Cycling Trails
The yellow hiking trail No. 6603 passes Vlčí hora, the ruins of Volfštejn Castle and through Černošín. A starting point for walking excursions to Vlčí hora was opened on the existing cycle route No. 2212. This starting point was equipped with a rest area, benches, seating, rubbish bins, a bicycle stand and information boards.
Cycle route No. 2205 passes through Třebel.
